Our goal is to promote self-sufficiency and a strong social support system. Core parts of this program are
Food Relief Program: this program was started in May 2009 in response to our families' request for a basic necessity - food. You can sponsor a CARE package by clicking here.
Community Centers: the backbone of the comunidad Corazón program. In order for our program to work effectively, a community center must be present in each of the communities.
Exchanges: 'Purchasing' needed items with community service hours.
Sponsors: sponsor groups fund special events, classes and construction projects. This gives volunteers from the US an opportunity to help others while receiving an incredible life experience.

Senior Program: a monthly food allotment to our older participants
Cultural sharing: includes holiday celebrations
Voluntourism: 'working vacations' spend a weekend or weeks living and working side by side with the participants. Experience first hand the wonders of Mexico as you learn about your neighbors.
Tool and Craft sales: proceeds go directly to support educational program.
