Sponsor Group Builds a House for Those in Need
in Baja California, Mexico
(Santa Ana, CA) date - The sponsor Group will take a break from their usual routine and share a life-changing experience when they build a home for a family in Mexico this Saturday, . The group will be building the home as part of a volunteer effort with Corazón, a non-profit organization that has helped create sustainable communities in Baja Mexico since 1978.
The house, a 16 x 20 building with concrete floors and walls with 4 windows and a kitchenette, will be for a family* participating in the comunidad Corazón (Corazón Community) program. This family earned this home by volunteering in the community, learning job skills and maintaining strong academic standing.
