How to get involved

Volunteer your Time.

You can transfer the knowledge of your career to another so they can work; you can teach a subject you enjoy, such as sewing, hair cutting, pottery making, etc.; you can join the team sawing, nailing and painting as they build and repair houses. The volunteer opportunities are many and your talents are needed.

Organizing, maintaining and operating the familia program takes the help of so many people.  A few hours of your time each month shares the burden of others and helps us fulfill our mission to so many. Contact the office to share your talents.

“Feed me today, and I’ll be hungry tomorrow.
Teach me today, and I can feed my family forever.”

Yes, we are hungry today, but when you give us food you make us dependent on you to continue to feed us. There is an entire generation of poor people willing to stand in line to beg for food. Teach me and I can feed my own family. Help me to learn the skills I need so I don’t have to beg, so I can keep my dignity, so I can take care of my family, so I can send my children to school so they may have a better chance at life.

Offer your Financial Support.
