Jardineria (Gardening)

Our goal is to teach families how to live better.  We want to teach real skills, so that they can earn more and provide for their families, but we can't start teaching advanced skills until we have taught the families:

• they are capable of learning
• they need to show up on time and pay attention
• they need to have a way of providing food for their family
• they need to believe that we are capable of teaching them

We have found that our Gardening Class satisfies all of these requirements, so we require all families to take the Gardening Class as their first class. At least one member from the family must take gardening before any family member is eligible for any other class.  The students must show up for five sessions before they graduate.
