Thank you for all of the time you dedicate to our organization. Each of your individual talents and contributions are recognized and greatly appreciated. Without you there would be no Corazón.
We ask that you be flexible as we prepare for your project date. Due to needs and circumstances in Mexico, some changes (family, location, etc.) may take place with your project and we will do our best to communicate them in a timely manner.
Over the past few years, we have experienced some significant cost increases. As you know construction material costs have been spiraling up and out of control along with food, school supplies and other materials. As a result, these additional costs have added a strain on all our programs, from construction to scholarships and classes. While we are reluctant to pass this cost on to you, we feel that the program in Mexico is even less able to absorb this cost than are our sponsors.
We realize that this is a burden for many of you who are already stretched to come up with the current price but with our materials costs increasing almost 12% in the last year, we felt we had to make this move. We would like to remind you that there are less expensive projects available for your group in Mexico. These range from room additions, painting and drywall projects, roofing and concrete improvements all the way to tutoring and teaching classes. Our office staff will be happy to work with you to match your budget and group with an appropriate project.

** NOTE:
REFUND POLICY - A Corazón construction project requires a
$1000 non-refundable deposit at the time of application. The remainder of
the funds are due 4 weeks before the scheduled project date. Failure of
Corazón to receive all project funds by this date makes the project subject
to cancellation, except under exceptional circumstances and with mutual
consent by Corazón and the sponsor. All project funds are non-refundable if
a project is cancelled by the sponsoring group with less than 4 weeks
notice. By mutual agreement between Corazón and the sponsoring group,
project funds may be applied to a substitute project within six calendar
months of the cancelled project, should a project date be available.
Otherwise, funds will be applied to sponsor other comunidad Corazón project
activities. Exceptions to this policy can only be granted upon approval by
a majority of the Corazón, Inc. Board of Directors.
